End of the semester, at last. For all the collegiates, hope the semester went well and that college life has been productive in the academic realm as well as the social realm.

Happy holidays to all, and to all a good night!

What's Up? Oct. 25th, 2004 @ 01:02 am

What's up, fellow MHS Class of 2004 alumni? What's new on the post-MHS scene? Reply with what's going on in life right now, whether you're attending college and where, working, etc?

As for me, I'm at ECSU studying televison production as well as fullfilling some GERs with fairly interesting classes. I have a job with the college's English Department working in its main office.

Good Luck! Aug. 25th, 2004 @ 07:31 pm

I think this is a good time as any to wish you all good luck no matter what your future holds; whether it be college you're off to (or in some cases, already in session), the military, the workforce, or even if you're unsure about your path at this time. Remember to take all the good lessons you learned in the high school years and apply them toward the future.

And remember to be grateful for the good things in life. After all, you just narrowly escaped the new security cameras. LOL.

So college is starting up pretty soon. I'm worried about how hectic my schedule will be. Full time student with a full time job - i'm never going to see anyone. With that being said, who is going to MCC? *prod*

Manchester, Connecticut Aug. 6th, 2004 @ 04:52 am

The amount of Manchester-related communities has grown from about nil in the beginning of this year to at least three.  As such, I provide the following communities I've found(ed) for your enjoyment:

mhs2004 - A community for the MHS Class of 2004.  If you're one of that class, join up, so that ten years down the road we can talk about our annoying jobs, update people on upcoming Class of 2004 events, laugh about that stupid drama that took place a dozen years ago, and other things.  We may go on to other things, but there's no reason that, in this day of technology a class of students never has to hear from eachother again.  This community was founded and is managed by yours truely.  You're already here, so no need to click on this link.

isurvivedmhs - We all have certain experiences in our life, and then there's MHS.  A community open to the entire population of MHS, current and past.  If you survived, or are making that attempt everday to survive MHS, this community is for you.

manchester_conn - A newly formed community, this one is not just about schools, but is instead for all that is Manchester, Connecticut.

Enjoy.

Thanks to everybody who has joined the community thus far. There isn't as many members as I might have hoped, but hopefully the number will grow in the next few weeks.

Anyway, this place isn't officially open yet, but I think something to break the ice might be nice. How about some names and what we plan to do after graduation (summer plans maybe? And then maybe some plans for the fall like college, etc)...

My name is Michael Merritt (obviously). This summer I'll be going to California in the Anaheim, San Diego, LA area. I'll be going on June 20th, so not long after our graduation. That rocks.

This fall I'll be attending Eastern Connecticut State University, majoring in Communication, with a concentration in television/broadcast.
